Membership InformationMembership RequirementsMembership in the Association shall be by company, not by individual. TASTP has two classes of members: Active MembersA firm applying for active membership must be a Corporation, partnership, or duly constituted individual proprietorship, a significant part of the business of which is the removal, installation, testing, or repair of storage tank systems and/or the assessment and remediation of storage tank sites. Each active member organization shall designate an official address in the State of Texas which will determine the District in which such member is eligible to stand or vote for District Directors. Please note: If your company has employees who perform hands-on work on storage tank and/or petroleum dispensing equipment, or if your company provides environmental consulting services that includes assessment/remediation of storage tank sites, then you must join as an Active Member. Active Members are voting members. Associate MembersFirms which have a business interest in the storage tank contracting and remediation industry, but which do not otherwise qualify for active membership in the Association may apply for Associate Membership.
